Your plan stays on your device.
No account, no server
Veltline runs entirely in your browser. There is no sign-up and no Veltline server that receives your plans. Plans are kept in your browser's local storage until you clear it, and you can save them as files on your own computer.
Map tiles
To show the map, your browser downloads map tiles from the selected provider: OpenFreeMap (map and streets), OpenTopoMap (topographic) or Esri (satellite). Like any website, these providers see your IP address and which map area is requested. Choose “No map” to load no tiles at all. The plan itself is never sent to them.
Hosting
This site and the app are served by Firebase Hosting (Google), which keeps standard server logs. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
No live data
Veltline is a planning tool. It does not connect to any operational system; everything on the map is entered by you.
